About Me
Du Wayne Denton is an established Cape Town based photographer focusing mainly on wedding photography. He has photographed more than a hundred weddings around the Cape Peninsula and other parts of South Africa. He has finished a 3-year National Diploma at the Cape Technikon (Cape Peninsula University of Technology) in Graphic Design and Photography, finishing with a distinction in photography. After assisting and learning from the best photographers in the industry, he started his own photography business. He recently started his new Lifestyle & Portaiture business focusing on couples, families, & kids. Du Wayne is happily married to the love of his life, Zani, and they also have a little baby girl, Amelie.
"Art played a big role in my life growing up. It eventually formed the foundation and the drive behind my photography. I don't just see myself as a photographer, but also as an artist with the camera as my paintbrush. I get so excited when I photography something and see beautiful image unfold before my eyes. One of the many beautiful things in life is a wedding. In all cultures all over the world as wedding is seen as a joyful occasion which brings family and friends together to celebrate this special day in the couples life. Each wedding is made unique by the people, detail, emotions and the setting. That is why I strongly feel that a photographer should be present to capture every moment.
My Personality: I'm a happy, funny and cheerful person. I try to seize the day and live life to the fullest. I love working with people, helping them to make their day unforgettable and special.
My style: Fun, Romantic, Relaxed, Peaceful and Natural. By means of photojournalism, artistic ideas and focusing on detail, I try to tell a unique story of my subject or the event as seen through the lens of my camera. My goal is to capture moments that will last more than a life time, bringing you endless joy and happiness.
